What’s Needed to Reserve a Trailer
Reservations can be made by completing our online reservation form (click on Reserve Now at the top of the page). You can also reserve by emailing us at [email protected] or texting/calling 587-894-2929.
To rent from us you must have a valid driver’s license, a valid credit card and we will require prove of insurance for the vehicle you intend to use to tow the trailer.
If you are emailing or calling/texting instead of the online form, we require the following:
- Renters Full Name (as it appears on your driver’s license)
- Alberta Driver’s License Number
- Company Name (if applicable)
- Phone Number and Email Address
- Physical Address (as it appears on your driver’s license)
- Trailer Size/Type
- Pickup Date & Time
- Length of Rental (see our Rental Options for details)
A confirmation of your reservation will be emailed to you to complete and return to confirm your reservation. A deposit will be taken for the full amount of the rental plus $500. The $500 will be refunded to you after the return and inspection of the trailer (subject to any late fees, cleaning fees or damage costs).
Cancellation: You can cancel up to 24 hours prior to your rental with no cancellation fees. If you cancel from 24 hours up to the scheduled time of your rental, we charge 50% of the one day rental fee. Unfortunately if you are a no show or cancel after the scheduled pick up time you are responsible for the full one day rental fee.
Vehicle Requirements to tow our trailers
A 3/4 ton truck is recommended for most trailers, but many SUV’s can also be used. Our utility trailers has a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 2990lbs and our 6×14 Cargo trailer has a GVW of 2996lbs. If you are unsure if your vehicle is capable of towing a trailer, look up the manufacture’s specifications for your vehicles towing capacity.
We are not responsible for confirming you’re the ability of your vehicle to tow a trailer. We will do our best to spot potential issues, but the onus is on you!
Tow Package
A class IV hitch is recommended or a tow package strong enough to handle the total weight or Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). Tongue weight is generally 10% to 15% of the trailer + load.
Ball Size
Our 5×12 utility trailer uses a 2” ball. Our 6×14 Cargo Trailer uses a 2 5/16″ Ball. Both trailers are single axle trailers.
If you do not have a receiver, we rent the ball & mount for each. Our rentals have a gross tongue rating of 15,000 lb.
Light Plug
A 7 Pin Round Light Plug Receptor (7 Pin RV Plug) is require to hook in the trailer lights. If you only have a 4 pin plug, we can rent you the adapter for a small fee.
